So a week ago last Friday we finally closed on our first home. It's an exciting time for us as I've never own my own home and my fiance has owned a condo previously. We're both quite excited as we finally get the opportunity to decorate and landscape by our own choosing.; It's an exciting time and a tiring time that's for sure. We spent the previous weekend going crazy with the painting and ripping up floor (whole house will be in laminate flooring), we're not moving in to the new house until the third week of August, but the weekends will go by quicker than what we're ready for I'm sure. At the same time though it's very exciting to see the house coming together. I think next weekend will be a really "wow" kind of weekend as that's when the floors are going in and it's going to transform the place.
